------ A Mature Democracy is more than just the right to vote once, every 4 years. A mature democracy cares for the people. Practical solutions are possible for all of us. That’s my opinion. Do we have a responsibility to care for each other? Do politicians overwork and understaff nurses in hospitals and long-term care? Why is public healthcare being sold to corporations? Do political policies cause high rents, mass evictions, homelessness, malnutrition and hopelessness? Should every Canadian have proper food, shelter, care, belonging, dignity and hope?
